It can be difficult for both elite and recreational athletes to obtain quality nutrition in their faced-paced lifestyles. With the expertise & support of a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, you can reach your performance goals. 

Individual Sports Nutrition Program

Initial consultation: review of medical history, biochemical parameters, food intake patterns and behaviors, & exercise regimen. You and the Sport Dietitian will then collaboratively set goals to optimize your performance. Specific recommendations based on this assessment including a meal plan for weight loss, weight maintenance, or weight gain and specific hydration recommendations will be communicated shortly following the initial consultation. 

Follow-up consults: will provide education and coaching to support you in achieving your performance goals. You and the Sport Dietitian will come up with a schedule to ensure you achieve success with your lifestyle modifications. Discussion of successes and barriers will take place so that modifications can be made or additional knowledge and skills can implemented. Review of food logs with feedback from the Sports Dietitian may occur. Your customized sports nutrition program may include the following topics, based on your needs:

Sport-Specific Nutrition Series

This comprehensive program is designed for sports teams of all ages and abilities aiming to gain a competitive edge. The Sport Dietitian will guide team members through a periodized nutrition program for optimal performance.The basic structure of this program includes six workshops to meet the team's needs and desires. Common topics addressed include but are not limited to:

  • Sweat rate tests & individualized hydration plans
